Meet the Directors

Crystal Chamberlain, Choir Director

Crystal Chamberlain is the Choir Director at Prosper High School in the Prosper Independent School District. Her choirs consistently earn Sweepstakes Awards at UIL Concert and Sight Reading along with Superior Ratings and "Best in Show" awards at area competitions.

​

Ms. Chamberlain is a graduate of Dallas Baptist University where she earned her Bachelor of Music Education degree.  She then earned a Master of the Arts in Vocal Pedagogy from Texas Woman's University. Before joining the PHS Staff, Ms. Chamberlain was the choir director at Rogers Middle School in Prosper.  During her time at RMS, she and the Rogers Choir were honored with an invitation to perform for the Texas Music Educator's Association Convention in San Antonio, Texas.

She is a member of TMEA, TCDA and the American Choral Directors Association .  In addition to her work as the choir director at PHS, Ms. Chamberlain also serves as the PHS Fine Arts department chair, team lead of choral activities for Prosper ISD and TMEA Region 24 Vocal Chair. 

​

Outside of school, Ms. Chamberlain loves to spend time with her family, decorating her home and trying to keep her plants alive.

Tate Keen, Associate Director

Tate Keen is the Associate Director of Choirs at Prosper High School in the Prosper Independent School District. This is his fourth year in Prosper ISD and his sixth year teaching. Previously, Mr. Keen was the Director of Choirs at Pioneer Heritage Middle School in Frisco ISD where his choirs consistently received Sweepstakes at UIL and Superior ratings at various contests in the Metroplex.

Mr. Keen graduated from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor's degree in Vocal Music Education in 2016.

​

Aside from teaching, Mr. Keen is passionate about composing/arranging music, serving his community and spending time with his wife Stephanie and son Taylor.
